Managing Director D.C. Sharp Helped the Plaintiffs’ Class Secure a $100M Settlement in the Riot Games Gender Discrimination Lawsuit

Managing Director DC Sharp and Economist Jennifer St. Clair’s work on the Riot Games case helped the plaintiffs’ class receive a $100 Million settlement in their gender discrimination lawsuit.

The case involved large gender discrimination in pay that impacted 1,065 female employees and 1,300 female contractors. Dr. Sharp and his team worked to determine whether there was a statistically significant difference between the compensation paid to female workers (employees and contractors) and the compensation paid to their male counterparts.  They found that significant discrepancies in base pay, incentives, and bonuses did indeed exist.
