Stefan Woodson v. City of Richmond, Virginia, et al.

The plaintiff was an inmate who was injured while in the care of the City of Richmond Department of Corrections. As a result of the injury, Mr. Woodson requires permanent care for the remainder of his life.

Econ One was retained to determine a lump sum value for those permanent expenses. Jill Kennedy submitted an expert report in which she estimated the current value of all future life care expenses for plaintiff, under the cost of the current level of care, as well as alternative scenarios. The case is ongoing.
