Abertis v. Bolivia

In an UNCITRAL arbitration, Abertis Infraestructuras S.A. claimed damages from the Plurinational State of Bolivia for the nationalization of Abertisā€™ interest in Servicios de Aeropuertos Bolivianos, S.A. (ā€œSABSAā€), the operator of Boliviaā€™s international airports in La Paz, Cochambamba, and Santa Cruz de la Sierra, and certain measures taken by regulatory authorities in Bolivia. Econ One was retained by counsel for Bolivia to provide expert analysis regarding the value of the operating concessions for the three airports. Dr. Daniel Flores submitted three expert reports (in Spanish) regarding the fair market value of Abertisā€™ interest in SABSA.
