Related to the TFT-LCD cartel case mentioned above, Proview Technologies imported and sold TFT-LCD monitors in the U.S. It retained Dr. Phillip Johnson to analyze damages and liability issues. Dr. Johnson and his team created a transactional sales database from archival printed invoices and utilized it as well as the massive transactional datasets of the TFT-LCD manufacturers to estimate overcharges and the amount of damages suffered Proview from the price fixing conspiracy.
The case settled before trial on confidential terms.
