Dr. Nedko Yordanov’s Analysis Supports Class Certification in Konica Minolta Matter
The United States District Court, District of New Jersey, has certified a class of former Konica Minolta employees alleging that Konica Minolta improperly withheld severance pay for employees separated in association with a purported headquarters relocation.
Econ One’s Senior Economist Dr. Nedko Yordanov submitted two reports in the matter. He used regression analysis to demonstrate that after accounting for job characteristics employment levels decreased at Konica Minolta from 2017-2018 to 2019-2020, which is inconsistent with the purported relocation at the end of 2018.
