Learn about Managing Director Leslie Schafer’s work in a first of its kind case.

Managing Director Leslie Schafer testified at trial on June 15th, 2021 on behalf of a group of emergency room physicians. The case was the first of its kind in the nation regarding emergency room physicians’ out-of-network pay from private insurance companies under the Affordable Care Act. The Harris County jury awarded the emergency room physicians $19.1 million.
