Managing Director Hal Singer helps get class certification for JUUL purchasers.

A California federal judge has certified two nationwide and two California classes of purchasers of JUUL products, relying in part upon the analysis and testimony of Managing Director Hal Singer. Dr. Singerā€™s Choice-Based Conjoint (CBC) survey and associated analysis were cited by the judge in his motion. The judge noted ā€œplaintiffsā€™ damages expert Dr. Hal J. Singer proffers a damages model that adequately takes into account significant supply-side factorsā€ and ā€œSingerā€™s conjoint analysesā€¦ support plaintiffsā€™ motion for class certification.ā€ The motion can be read in full here. Dr. Kevin Caves, Augustus Urschel, and Kathryn Kaduck assisted in the development of the CBC study.
