Martin Asher is a Consultant to the firm as well as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. In consulting matters, he has previously worked with or has been supported by Econsult Corporation (Philadelphia, PA), Econ One Research (Los Angeles, CA and Washington, DC), Nathan Associates Inc. (Arlington, VA), and Monument Economics Group (Arlington, VA). He maintains a role as an Affiliate with Monument Economics Group.
Dr. Asher has testified in federal and state courts on price-fixing and other antitrust matters in a broad set of industries that include analyses relevant to class certification and damages.
Dr. Asher received a BA in Economics from Stanford University (1977), an MA (1979) and a PhD (1986) in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.Ā He has taught at Westmont College, the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School and College of Arts and Sciences), Swarthmore College, Bryn Mawr College, and Villanova University, where he received tenure in 1991.
