Shawn Nevins is a Senior Consultant at Econ One Research, Inc.  He performs damages analysis and litigation support for patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, false advertising, breach of contract, antitrust, and other complex litigation.  He works on engagements concerning the determination of economic damages in litigation in the form of lost profits, reasonable royalties, disgorgement, price erosion, accounting of defendants’ profits, restitution, domestic industry, bonding, corrective advertising, and diminution in asset and enterprise value.  Mr. Nevins oversees market research surveys for intellectual property and other cases.  He manages all aspects of litigation engagements, researches patent claims and filing histories, conducts market and license research, prepares expert reports, and provides various financial analyses in support of damages claims.  Mr. Nevins provides services on behalf of both in-house and outside counsel, company management, accounting and auditing firms, and expert witnesses and other consultants.  His work supports expert testimony before Federal and State courts, the Court of Federal Claims, and the International Trade Commission.

Prior to Econ One, Mr. Nevins was an Associate at GreatBridge Consulting, Inc.  Prior to joining GreatBridge, Mr. Nevins provided litigation consulting and support services for Ocean Tomo LLC, an intellectual property valuation and consulting group.  Prior to its acquisition by Ocean Tomo, he worked with Tait Advisory Services.  At GreatBridge, Ocean Tomo and Tait, Mr. Nevins contributed to numerous litigation support engagements for intellectual property infringement and other disputes.  He prepared work papers, conducted industry research and provided analytical support for testifying experts.  He also has significant experience in municipal government.
